Lulu Island Masterplan

Lulu Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

6,000,000 SF (Resorts alone) Masterplan concept design lead for 5 hotel resorts as part of an master plan to a speculative new 5km x 3km island development. Island dominates the prominent Corniche Ocean front of Abu Dhabi. The project team was diverse, multi-national and multi-practice including Architectonica, Martha Schwartz and Hart Howerton. The project underwent a very high octane project schedule and multiple design and re-design iterations.
